Website design for small businesses in South Africa

A clear, professional website gives customers somewhere to understand your business, see your work and get in touch.

Full Circle Digital designs websites for small businesses across South Africa. Based in Germiston, Gauteng, we work with you remotely to turn your services, photos and business information into an online presence that is easy to use on a phone, tablet or desktop.

Website design from R5,000

For a simple business website. Your individual quotation confirms the pages, features, content requirements and final price. Hosting and domain fees are separate.

Built around your business

The information customers need.
A clear way to contact you.

Whether you offer a local service, make products to order or want to showcase completed projects, your website should explain what you do without making visitors work to find it.

Your services, clearly explained

Present what you offer, who you help and the areas you serve, with clear headings and a sensible page structure.

Your work, properly presented

Use your original photos to show services, products or projects. Galleries and supporting pages are included where agreed in your quote.

Designed for smaller screens

Readable text, clear navigation and layouts that adapt to phones, tablets and desktop screens.

Enquiries made easier

Contact forms and phone, email or WhatsApp links give customers a practical next step, according to the features agreed for your site.

Website scope

What goes into your website?

We build with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, from a focused one-page website to a site with separate service or project pages. The size and features are agreed before the build begins.

  • Your branding, business information and approved content arranged into a consistent design.
  • Responsive layouts, clear navigation and the enquiry features listed in your quotation.
  • Page titles, descriptions, headings and internal links, plus a sitemap and robots.txt file to support search discovery.
  • HTTPS, mobile, browser and functionality checks before launch, including links, forms and any agreed sliders or media.
  • Client review, final approval and handover, with the agreed 14-day small-change period governed by your Website Design Agreement.

You supply the business details, wording, logo and original photos. Any help with wording or additional content is agreed in the quotation. Search rankings and enquiries cannot be guaranteed.

A real project

A website for SA Outdoor

SA Outdoor supplies floating jetties, modular floating docks, boat and jet ski slides, and LDPE pipe floats. Its website brings service information and project imagery together, with contact options for customer enquiries.

The project shows how a small business can explain specialised services and let its own work support the message.

A clear process

From your first enquiry to launch

  1. Tell us what you need

We use a questionnaire to understand your business, goals and website requirements.

  2. Agree your quotation

Confirm the scope, price, responsibilities and payment terms before work begins.

  3. Gather your content

A checklist helps you supply your wording, logo, service details and original photos.

  4. Design and build

We arrange your approved material into the agreed design and website structure.

  5. Review and test

You review the site; we apply agreed corrections and complete checks before publication.

  6. Launch and hand over

After approval and the agreed payment requirements, we publish the website and provide the handover details.

Hosting and ownership

Know your ongoing provider costs

You are welcome to choose your own domain registrar and hosting provider. Register Domain SA is the provider Full Circle Digital currently uses and is included here as an example, not a requirement. Your domain and hosting stay under your control, with provider charges paid directly by you.

Example estimate: hosting and domain around R800 per year
  • Basic Hosting: allow approximately R700–R750 per year. Your chosen billing period determines when you pay.
  • A .co.za domain: approximately R99 annually.

These budgeting estimates are based on Register Domain SA as an example, are separate from the website design fee, and are not a provider quotation. Other providers have their own packages and prices. Prices, VAT, billing periods, introductory offers and renewal charges may differ. Confirm the full amount at checkout before paying; other packages or domain extensions may cost more.

How to arrange your domain and hosting

Your domain is your website address, such as yourbusiness.co.za. Hosting is the space where your website files are stored so people can visit it.

  1. Create your own account with your chosen provider using your business or personal contact details and an email address you already have access to.
  2. Choose an available domain name that suits your business.
  3. Select the agreed hosting package and billing period. Check the total, what is included and the renewal charges.
  4. Complete the purchase and pay Register Domain SA directly. Keep your account and renewal emails safe.

Full Circle Digital can provide a short setup guide for Register Domain SA. If you prefer another provider, its support team can assist with registration and purchasing. Before buying a package, confirm with us that it supports the agreed HTML, CSS and JavaScript website and allows us to upload the website files. You purchase the domain and hosting directly; we build and upload your website as agreed in your quotation. You do not need to build the website yourself.

What we need to upload your website

Once your hosting is active, we need access to the website files on your hosting account. This can be through cPanel File Manager or a separate file-transfer account, depending on what your provider supports. Ask your hosting provider to help arrange access limited to your website files where possible.

  • Your website domain name and confirmation that the hosting package is active.
  • The hosting access details needed for the agreed upload. We confirm the appropriate access method with you before launch.
  • Your approval of the finished website and completion of the agreed payment requirements before publication.

Arrange hosting access separately when we are ready to upload. Do not put passwords in your content questionnaire or content collection folder. We do not need your banking details, payment-card details or personal email password. You remain responsible for your provider account, billing and renewals.

Your account, domain and hosting remain under your control. You are responsible for provider payments and renewals. If you already have a domain or hosting, let us know before buying anything new so we can confirm what is needed.

Before you enquire

Your website questions

Do you only work with businesses in Germiston?

No. Full Circle Digital is based in Germiston and works remotely with small businesses across South Africa. Your website can reflect the areas your business actually serves.

What does the R5,000 starting price cover?

It is the starting price for a simple business website. We quote for your specific requirements, so you can see the agreed pages, features and content responsibilities before accepting. Larger sites and extra features cost more. Hosting and domain fees are separate.

What do I need to supply?

Your business details, service information, wording, logo and original photos. We provide a content checklist to help you organise everything. Tell us early if you need assistance with wording so it can be included in the scope.

How long will my website take?

The timing depends on the size of the site, the features required and when content and approvals are available. We agree a target schedule for your project rather than promise the same turnaround for every business.

Will the website work on mobile phones?

The layout is designed to adapt to phones, tablets and desktops. We check navigation, readable text and agreed features across relevant screen sizes and browsers, and disclose any testing limitations that require additional real-device checks.

Do you set up my Google Search Console and Bing accounts?

We prepare the website with its search information, sitemap and technical checks. At handover, you receive your website and sitemap links with instructions. You create and control your own search accounts, complete verification and submit the sitemap. Those account steps do not delay your website handover.

What happens if I need changes after handover?

Your agreement includes a 14-day period for the agreed small changes. Later updates, additional pages and new features are quoted separately. There is no ongoing maintenance retainer.

Can I include reviews or a Google Business Profile?

Genuine reviews can be added as manual cards where agreed, with accurate wording and attribution. They do not update automatically. New Google Business Profile setup is available as a separate service R950 once-off for one eligible new profile; existing listings, recovery and ongoing management are excluded. No live review API or Google Cloud billing setup is included.
